Boundary Change for the Senedd Election

I hadn’t considered the issue of boundary changes when I created this site. I felt the name was pretty safe for a few years.

It survived the UK boundary review in 2023. Cardiff North absorbed Taff’s Well but kept its name.

The recent boundary changes for the upcoming Senedd Election, however, mean we’re also in the new “Caerdydd Ffynnon Taf” constituency.

This constituency was created as part of the 2026 review of Senedd constituencies for use in the 2026 Senedd Election. It combines the UK Parliamentary constituencies of Cardiff North and Cardiff East.

The voting system has also changed for this year’s election.

All the information you need to know about the election can be found on the Senedd website.
