Haydn graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a First Class Honours Degree in Business and IT before spending a couple of years as a systems analyst and developer. He then spent 14 years working as a photographer before moving into videography.

After working with UKIP, he was invited to run as their candidate in Cardiff North.
