Biography

Married to Clare and living in Cardiff with our family, Charlie (4), Amelia (1) and Winston (Dog 6). I was born and raised in Wales, attending a Welsh comprehensive. I have been the Member of Parliament for Cardiff North since winning the seat in 2015 until the dissolution of Parliament a month ago. During that period I sat on three select committees, Work and Pensions Select, Welsh Affairs & Scottish Affairs. I was also a member of the Treasury team as PPS to the Chief Secretary. Prior to becoming Cardiff North’s MP I served as a Cardiff City Councillor for eight years, chairing our City’s Economic Committee and as a Non-Exec Direction on the board of Cardiff Bus.
